From GDP to Dignity
The world is at a turning point. On 16 January 2026, the GRFC talked about finance, not just as an abstract system but as a survival tool. At the Graduate Institute, Beris Gwynne, Co-Founder of the GRFC, along with Professor Nathan Sussman and Christian Kingombe, the Founder & Managing Partner at 4IP Group Sàrl, spoke about how global capital can genuinely support entrepreneurial solutions, climate resilience, and systemic change. Not in theory, but in practice.
This conversation comes at a moment when public budgets are shrinking, climate risks are accelerating, and trust in existing institutions is wearing thin. The question is no longer whether finance must change, but whether we are brave enough to change it in time.

We catalyse partnerships and unlock investment to accelerate the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and drive global climate action—focusing on the “Majority Tercile,” the bottom third of the global wealth pyramid where most of the world’s young people live.
